Hey guys, I’m torn between applying early decision (ED) or early action (EA) for my top choice school. I know the basic differences, like ED being binding and EA not, but I’m trying to figure out what will give me the best shot at acceptance.
My dream school is definitely a reach, and while getting in early sounds amazing, I’m worried about the financial aid piece. If I’m accepted ED, I might miss out on better packages from other schools. Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you weigh the pros and cons?
Also, what kind of acceptance rates have you seen for ED vs EA? Any insights would be super helpful!
