Hey everyone! So I’m trying to wrap my head around the differences between FAFSA and the CSS Profile. I get that one is federal aid and the other is for some private schools, but can someone break it down for me? What kind of information do they each require? And why the extra details in the CSS Profile?
Also, does filling out both really increase your chances for aid, or is it just a hassle? Anyone been through this and has tips on how to tackle it?
