The pressure was on with only a month until my SAT! Initially, I was drowning in full-length practice tests every weekend, but they just weren’t cutting it. Instead, I found that focusing on my weak spots really helped.
I created a dedicated notebook for math questions I struggled with. Each day, I’d pick a topic, like geometry or algebra, and solve 15-20 problems. After that, I reviewed every mistake; I even noted why I got them wrong and how to approach similar questions next time.
It felt tedious at first, but patterns started showing up, and I finally understood where my weaknesses lay. I also made sure to time myself on practice problems to simulate the real test. Timing really built my confidence!
