I've been dreading the moment I have to approach my professor for a recommendation letter. It just feels super intimidating! I know they probably get a ton of requests, so how do I even start the conversation?
Last semester, I took Prof. Smith’s class, and I really enjoyed it, but I'm unsure how to frame my request. Should I remind them of specific projects or assignments we worked on (like that group project that went way better than expected)? Also, I've heard it's good to attach a brag sheet. What should I include on that?
If someone could share their experiences or a good email template that worked for them, it would be really appreciated! What’s the best way to make it less awkward for both sides?
