how long I prepped for IELTS and finally got my 7

I remember freaking out when I first thought about taking the IELTS. I had no clue how long to prepare, but I ended up spending about 3 months really focusing on it.

Initially, I thought a few weeks would do, but I quickly realized that diving deep into each section helped heaps. Each week, I allocated specific days for reading, writing, and speaking. I also made sure to practice with real exam papers – that was a game changer!

So, for anyone wondering how long to prepare for IELTS, I’d say at least 8-12 weeks if you can do it, but make sure it’s consistent study each week.
