Hey everyone! I was really struggling with my IELTS speaking fluency before my last test. It felt like I could never find the right words when they asked me questions. I kept getting nervous and stumbling over my sentences.
Then, I decided to start practicing with a buddy who also needed to prep for IELTS. We would do mock speaking tests, which helped a lot! My tip is to focus on speaking naturally and not just trying to sound fancy. We recorded our sessions, and honestly, hearing myself talk made me realize that I was overthinking everything.
Another thing that worked for me was watching TED Talks and repeating what the speakers said. It helped me with pronunciation and fluency. Plus, I learned new phrases to use, which made me feel more confident.
Lastly, I just embraced mistakes! It’s normal to mess up and it only helps you improve. So, stop worrying about being perfect and just keep speaking!
