The maps compare the layout of Riverside Park in 2010 and 2025, showing changes to its facilities while retaining several original features.
Overall, the park gained a playground, a cafe and a footpath. These changes replaced the car park and tennis courts, whereas the entrance, central lawn and northern pond remained in their original positions.
In 2010, visitors entered from the south, with the lawn occupying the centre of the park. A car park lay to the west of the lawn, while tennis courts were situated on the eastern side. The pond was located in the north. The layout therefore placed the principal facilities on either side of the central open space.
By 2025, the western car park had been removed and a playground established in its place. On the opposite side, a cafe had replaced the tennis courts. A footpath was also added around the lawn, although the lawn itself was retained. The southern entrance and northern pond were unchanged. The maps indicate alterations to the site’s facilities, but do not specify how visitors’ numbers or activities changed over the period.
