Ideas to explore

  • Acceptance can reduce stress when circumstances cannot be changed quickly, such as during a prolonged job search.
  • Practical steps, including training or applying for other positions, may improve an unsatisfactory work situation.
  • People facing financial pressure can combine acceptance of immediate limits with budgeting, additional work, or seeking reliable advice.

Suggested structure

  1. Introduce both views and state a balanced personal position.
  2. Explain why acceptance can be useful, supported by a work or money example.
  3. Present the case for taking action, with practical steps that could improve the situation.
  4. Conclude by distinguishing what people cannot control from what they can realistically change.

Band 4.0

in life, we will often face difficult situation that is hard to veal with while some think that it is better to just accept the situation, others argue that it is best to try our best to fight for such situations, however, i think it depends on the situation that one was facing. in this essay, I will discuss both ideas and explain my opinion.

Firstly, accepting a bad situation can be a good choice in some cases. For example, a person who has no job may not have enough money to leave their current work immediately. If they accept the problem for a short time, they can keep earning money and plan for another job. Also, some problems cannot be changed quickly, so accepting reality may reduce stress. However, this does not mean that people should give up forever.

On the other hand, trying to improve a difficult situation is important because people may get a better life. A worker who is unhappy can learn new skills or look for another job. A person with little money can make a budget and search for more work. These actions may take time and can fail, but doing nothing may make the situation stay the same.

In my opinion, people should first understand their situation and then decide what to do. If a change is possible and does not create a bigger problem, they should try to improve it. But when they cannot change it at once, they can accept it temporarily and make a plan. For example, someone should not leave a job without thinking about rent and other costs.

To conclude, accepting a bad situation can help people cope with reality, while taking action can bring improvement. I believe the best choice depends on how serious the problem is and what choices are available.

Targeted Improvement Tips

1
Rewrite the introduction as three sentences: introduce the issue, summarise each view, and state your conditional opinion.
2
Develop each body paragraph with a clear reason and a practical example, then explain what the example shows about accepting or changing the situation.
3
Proofread the opening separately for sentence boundaries, capitalisation and common phrases; specifically check “deal with” and whether general nouns should be plural.
