How Long Should I Really Prepare for the IELTS? My Journey

0 comments104 views

I know this question gets asked a lot, but honestly, it really depends on where you're starting from. When I first started studying for the IELTS, I felt totally overwhelmed, thinking I needed months. But after some trial and error, I found that a targeted approach works best!

For me, 6-8 weeks of focused study was enough to go from a band 6 to a band 7. I made a study schedule that broke each section down and concentrated mainly on my weak spots. I also joined a study group, which made the process way more enjoyable.

So, if you're wondering how long to prepare for IELTS, consider your current skills and set a realistic plan. Don’t forget to practice, practice, practice!
