Band 5.0

The two maps show the differences in Science Park between 2008 and today. According to the map, there are big chances in the organization in the Science Park from 2008 to today. The most significant developments are the extension of the transportation network an the revision in some centers such as the addition of the research and development building and the university hub. Overall, the park has become more focused on research and transport, while the business units and car park remain in the central area. Several facilities have also been added or replaced.

In 2008, a large grassland occupied the north-western section, while offices and a reception were located in the north-east. Today, this open area has been developed with a research and development facility, and the offices remain in the north-east, with a university hub added nearby. The business units are still on the western side, and the car park continues to occupy the centre.

In the southern part, the former IT centre has been replaced by an innovation centre. Cyber security remains in the south-east. Transport links have also changed: a station has been added along the southern edge, and cycle paths and paths now provide routes through the site. Woodland remains in several areas, while a bus stop is shown beside the eastern road.

Targeted Improvement Tips

1
Replace “big chances” with a precise map phrase such as “major changes to the layout,” and state the park’s overall shift towards research and improved transport.
2
Compare old and new uses explicitly: say that the former grassland was developed and the IT centre became the innovation centre, while the business units and car park remained.
3
Proofread the completed draft for word choice and small grammar errors, especially “an the”; check that every new feature you name is visible on the map.
