Anyone else got stuck on the TOEFL reading? Here's what I did!

I used to dread the TOEFL reading section. It seemed like every passage was designed to confuse me even more. After floundering through practice tests, I finally discovered some strategies that turned things around.

First, timing was everything. I started practicing with a timer. Giving myself a strict timeframe for each passage helped with both speed and focus. If you can, try to sum up each paragraph in one sentence as you read. This tactic kept me on track and made the questions easier to handle.

Next, I focused on keywords. When skimming the questions first, I noticed I could mark important terms and phrases in the passage. When the questions referred back to those terms, I felt like a detective finding the clues!

Lastly, don’t skip the practice tests. I combined my studying with full-length tests. It really built my stamina and I started feeling more like a pro.

Has anyone else found success in different ways? Would love to hear your tips too!
