best SAT practice test strategy? i keep reviewing wrong

SATSATpractice testsstudy strategyscore improvement

I took a full Bluebook test last weekend thinking the hardest part would be the questions, but honestly the review took me way longer. I keep searching for the best SAT practice test strategy and getting mixed advice, so I wanted to ask here.

Right now I do one full test, check answers, and then just write down what I missed. But it feels kind of useless because I make the same mistakes again, especially in math when I rush and in reading when two answers seem right.

What actually worked for you?

  • Did you do full tests every week or mostly sections?
  • How long did you spend reviewing each missed question?
  • Did you keep an error log, and if so what did you put in it?
  • For anyone who improved a lot, what was your SAT practice test strategy between tests?

I’m aiming to raise my score by around 100-150 points, so any specific routine would help.
