best SAT practice test strategy? taking full tests but not improving

SATSATpractice testsstudy strategyscore improvement

Does anyone have a best SAT practice test strategy that actually helped their score go up? I keep taking full tests every weekend because that seemed like the obvious SAT practice test strategy, but my score is basically stuck.

I review some wrong answers, but I honestly feel like I am just checking explanations and moving on instead of fixing patterns. For people who improved, did you:

  • take full tests every week or every other week?
  • do timed sections more than full exams?
  • keep an error log by topic?
  • redo missed questions later without looking?

My main issue is math pacing and random reading mistakes when I get tired. If anyone has a routine that worked, I would seriously love to copy it.
