I remember sitting down to write my college application resume and feeling totally lost. I had a ton of things to include but no idea how to make it look neat and organized. Eventually, I found that breaking it into clear sections really helped.
I ended up with four main parts: Education, Activities, Awards, and Projects. This structure not only made it easy for me to manage, but I think it looked way more appealing to the admissions folks. Also, I made sure to use numbers wherever I could. For instance, instead of saying I volunteered, I noted how many hours I worked and what my specific role was.
Has anyone else tried different formats? What worked for you?
