how to study for SAT in one month without burning out?

SATSATstudy planone monthpractice tests

I had a mini panic moment this week because I looked at the calendar and realized my test date is basically around the corner. I keep searching how to study for SAT in one month and most plans either look way too intense or weirdly vague.

For context, I’m not starting from zero, but I’m also not where I want to be. My biggest issue is that I don’t know what a realistic 4-week plan looks like if you’re balancing school at the same time. I can probably do around 2 hours on weekdays and more on weekends, but I don’t want to waste time doing random practice.

If anyone here improved in a month, what did you actually do day by day?

  • Did you focus on one section at a time or mix math/reading every day?
  • How many full-length practice tests did you take?
  • Was reviewing mistakes more important than grinding new questions?
  • Did Khan Academy/Bluebook end up being enough?

I’m especially worried about the reading section because my score there moves around a lot. Math feels more fixable if I just identify the topics I keep missing.

Right now I’m thinking something like:

  1. week 1: take a diagnostic and list weak areas
  2. week 2-3: targeted practice + timed modules
  3. week 4: full tests + review + light refresh

But I genuinely don’t know if that’s the smartest way to handle how to study for SAT in one month.

If you had only 4 weeks, what would your schedule be? Even better if you can share what score jump you got and what not to do, because I’m trying not to spiral lol.
