I’ve been pondering over my college essay topic for weeks now, and I'm starting to worry it’s too typical. I want to write about my experience learning to cook during the pandemic, but I’ve seen a lot of similar stories out there.
How do you know if a topic is too overdone? I mean, it’s meaningful to me, and I really think I can show how it changed me. But will the admissions officers just roll their eyes at yet another cooking story? I'd love to hear what you all think!
