J1 or F1 visa? What I learned from my application process

If you're stuck choosing between the J1 and F1 visa, you're not alone. I went through the same dilemma when I was applying to study in the U.S. The F1 visa is great if you want to pursue a full-time education and gives you the chance to work on campus. On the other hand, the J1 visa is often for exchange programs and can allow for more flexibility, especially if you plan to do an internship or research.

One thing to consider is the duration of stay; F1 usually grants more time compared to J1, which might require returning home sooner. Think about what your goals are and where you see yourself post-grad. Whatever you choose, make sure you understand the requirements for each visa. Good luck!
