Hey everyone! I’ve been deep diving into the J1 vs F1 visa situation, and honestly, I’m a bit confused. A friend of mine is going for J1 because it seems like a good option for internships, but I’m leaning towards the F1 for its more straightforward academic route.
Are there any past experiences here related to switching from J1 to F1 or the other way around? What do you guys think? Would it be worth it to stick to one or the other, especially when it comes to job opportunities post-study?
