my TOEFL preparation plan one month before test day

My TOEFL preparation plan one month before test day was way more simple once I stopped collecting random resources and just followed one routine. If you need a TOEFL preparation plan one month out, this is the one I’d give a friend:

  1. Week 1: take a full practice test and find your weakest section.
  2. Week 2: do focused drills daily: reading timing, listening notes, speaking templates, writing structure.
  3. Week 3: alternate full sections and review mistakes hard.
  4. Week 4: take 2 full mocks, fix pacing, and don’t cram new material.

Daily split that worked for me:

  • 30 min reading
  • 30 min listening
  • 20 min speaking recordings
  • 30 min writing
  • 20 min mistake review

Big tip: keep a small error log in notes so you stop repeating the same mistakes.
