Need a GMAT study plan for one month? Here’s what I did!

If you're staring down the barrel of the GMAT with just a month to prepare, you might feel a bit overwhelmed. Trust me, I’ve been there! But I created a study plan that worked wonders for me, and I want to share it with you.

First things first, assess where you're at. Take a practice test to gauge your starting point. The results can help tailor your study plan to focus on your weakest areas.

  • Week 1: Focus on the basics. Review the main concepts in Quant and Verbal. Use study guides and online resources like Khan Academy or GMAT Club.
  • Week 2: Start incorporating practice problems. Aim for about 20-30 per day. Mix it up with timed sections to build stamina.
  • Week 3: Dive into full-length practice tests. I did two this week—one on the weekend and one mid-week. Analyze your mistakes!
  • Week 4: Review everything one last time and maximize your practice tests. Focus on pacing and strategy.

A few tips I found helpful:

  • Set specific goals. For example, hit a certain number of practice questions daily.
  • Keep your study sessions between 2-4 hours focused. Quality over quantity!
  • Stay flexible. If something isn’t working, adjust your plan.

Remember to take care of yourself too! Get enough sleep and maybe have a little fun to avoid burnout. You’ve got this!
