- For reading, I forced myself to underline the exact line that proved an answer. If I couldn’t point to it, I didn’t trust it.
- For writing, I learned the common grammar patterns: subject-verb agreement, punctuation joins, pronouns, and modifiers. Those show up a lot.
- On vocab-in-context questions, I stopped picking the fanciest word and chose the one that fit the sentence tone.
- If two choices felt close, one was usually too broad or added an idea not in the passage.
Biggest tip: review by question type, not just total score. That made my practice way more useful.
