Struggling with IELTS Speaking Part 2? Here’s a tip that helped me!

IELTSIELTSSpeakingTipsPreparation

I remember sitting down to practice for the IELTS speaking test and staring blankly at the cue cards. For Part 2, I found it super challenging to describe personal experiences or people without freezing. But then I discovered this strategy that really helped me articulate my thoughts better!

Whenever I get a cue card, I take a minute to jot down bullet points about what I want to say. I focus on the who, what, where, and why of the topic. For instance, if I have to describe an interesting person, I’ll note down their name, a few key traits, where I met them, and why they stood out.

This not only helps in organizing my thoughts but also gives me a clearer structure to speak for the full 1-2 minutes. Practice this with recent IELTS speaking Part 2 topics for 2025, and you’ll feel more confident. Trust me!
