So I’m getting ready for my F1 visa application, and I wanted to share what I found about the I-20 financial documents. It's super important to show you can afford your education in the U.S.
- Bank statements: You’ll generally need at least 3 months' worth.
- Sponsorship letters: If someone’s funding your studies, get a letter from them.
- Tax returns: If you're using family funds, including tax documents can help.
- Proof of scholarship: If you have any scholarships, include that info too!
I found out that having these documents organized can make a huge difference. It really shows preparedness during the visa interview.
