Hey everyone! So, I'm in the middle of putting together my college applications and I’m pretty stressed about finding the right way to ask my recommenders for letters. I've been wondering what it’s best to send them to make their job easier and to give them some useful info.
I’ve had a couple of professors and my high school guidance counselor in mind, and I think providing them with a little summary of my achievements, goals, and why I’m applying would really help. Has anyone else done this?
- What info should I include? Grades, extracurriculars, personal anecdotes?
- Should I give them a specific format to follow or just let them do their thing?
- When do you think is the best time to ask them? I don’t want to wait too long!
Any suggestions would be super helpful!
