What should I include when asking for a recommendation letter?

Hey guys! I'm in the process of asking for recommendation letters for my college applications, and I'm a bit lost on what to send to my recommenders. Should I give them a resume or a list of achievements? What about personal anecdotes or specific points I want them to mention? Any advice on what worked for you would be super helpful!
