What should I really include on my high school resume?

Hey everyone, has anyone else been lost on what to put on a high school resume? I totally get the struggle. When I was applying for colleges, I wasn’t sure if I should just list my grades and some clubs or if I needed to add things like volunteer work and skills.

Here’s what worked for me. First, definitely include your contact information at the top. Then, make sure to list your education, starting with your high school. Mention any relevant courses or achievements like honors classes or special projects. After that, I included some extra-curricular activities. Colleges really want to see how you spend your time outside of classes, so I highlighted my leadership roles in clubs.

Don’t forget about any volunteer work or part-time jobs! Even if you think it’s not relevant, it shows responsibility and time management. Finally, skills are key—think about what you’re good at and how it relates to what you want to study. Oh, and keep it to one page!
