Reaching out for a recommendation letter can feel daunting, but a clear email can make all the difference! I usually include a brief reminder of our connection, what I'm applying for, and a deadline. I also attach a short brag sheet that highlights my achievements and goals.
Most importantly, I always give my professors an option to decline if they're swamped. It shows respect for their time and makes the whole thing less awkward!
