What to include on a high school resume? Here’s what worked for me!

Are you stuck trying to figure out what to put on your high school resume? Trust me, I’ve been there! My biggest tip is to break it down into clear sections: education, activities, skills, and volunteer work.

For education, list your GPA (if it’s good), relevant coursework, and any honors. In the activities section, focus on clubs, sports, and leadership roles. Quantify your achievements! Instead of just saying you were a member of a club, mention how many events you organized or participated in.

Don’t forget to highlight any skills that are relevant to the jobs or internships you’re applying for. Also, a little volunteer work can go a long way. It shows you care and have a commitment outside of school.

Lastly, keep it to one page and use a clean format. Less is more when you’re just starting out.
