I wanted to share my experience with the "why major" essay because mine felt super disingenuous at first. I wrote about economics and how I always loved it, but honestly, that wasn’t it. My real connection came from a project in high school where I seriously messed things up and had to figure out why I was wrong.
Once I added that messy part, my essay felt so much more authentic. It made me realize that being real can actually be a strong point. Anyone else had a similar breakthrough?
