Band 9.0

The maps illustrate the layout changes of a theater between 2010 and 2012. Overall, the theater underwent significant modifications to enhance accessibility and functionality, with the addition of new facilities such as a restaurant and showers, while retaining key areas like the auditorium. In 2010, the theater had a basic layout. A stage occupied the upper central part of the building, with the media room directly above it. The auditorium lay immediately below the stage, while storage was positioned along the upper-left side. At the bottom, the administration and ticket offices stood to the left of the main entrance, and a café was on its right.

By 2012, the internal arrangement had been substantially reorganised. The hall replaced the former media room above the stage, and the media area was moved to a narrow strip on the left; storage was relocated to the upper-right corner. The auditorium remained beneath the stage, apparently in the same central position. The lower part also changed: showers were added beside the media area, the administration office remained on the lower left, and the former café area was replaced by restaurants. The ticket office moved from the lower-left side of the entrance to the lower-right side. Overall, the auditorium and entrance were retained, whereas several supporting facilities were moved, replaced or added.

Targeted Improvement Tips

1
Replace inferred purposes such as “to enhance accessibility” with changes that can be verified directly from the plans.
2
Use the labels shown on the maps—particularly “Restaurants,” “Hall” and “Media”—and compare each facility’s position across the two years.
3
Organise the body by location or by status: first describe the auditorium and entrance that remain, then cover relocated, added and replaced facilities.
