Suggested structure

  1. Introduce the two dates and the place shown.
  2. Give an overview of the main features that remain and the overall scale of change.

Band 6.0

The given diagrams illustrate how a theater changed between 2010 and 2012. Overall, this place underwent a significant change, with the most notable ones being the erection of restaurants, showers and hall. The expansion of stage is also recorded. In the top half of layout, a storage was converted to a media then newly constructed hall. In fact, the upper facilities were rearranged: the media area, which occupied the upper central section in 2010, was moved to the left side, while storage was relocated from the left to the right. A hall was added across the upper middle, above the stage.

The stage and auditorium remained in the central part of the theater, with the auditorium directly below the stage and the same seating layout shown in both years. At the lower end, the café on the right in 2010 was removed, and a restaurant was introduced on the left, below a new admin office. Showers were also added beside the auditorium on its left. The ticket office remained in the lower-right corner, while the main entrance stayed at the center of the bottom wall. Thus, the main changes involved new facilities and relocation, rather than a major alteration to the seating area.

Targeted Improvement Tips

1
Before drafting, list the main changes in location groups: upper areas, central stage and auditorium, and lower facilities.
2
Describe only changes visible in the plans: the stage does not clearly increase in size, while the café disappears and a restaurant is added.
3
Proofread every room name for articles and number: for example, use “the storage area,” “a hall,” and “a restaurant.”
