The provided maps depict the floor plan of a public library 20 years ago and the changes that occurred to it today. Overall, after analyzing the given maps, what can be seen is that such changes can benefit adults and children who want to buy food inside the library due to the addition of the café. The library has been substantially reorganised, while the entrance remains in the middle of the southern wall. Twenty years ago, the central area contained tables and chairs, with CDs, videos and computer games in the northwest and children's books in the northeast. Adult fiction and non-fiction occupied the two middle side sections. A reading room was in the southwest, and an enquiry desk stood in the southeast. Today, the central tables have been removed, and the side areas have been extensively repurposed. Storytelling events and sofas now occupy the northwest, with children's fiction directly below; all reference books and a computer room are further south on that side. On the east, the former children's-book area is now a lecture room, while adult fiction is beneath it. An information desk and self-service machines have replaced the old enquiry area, and a café has been added in the southeast.
