Dear Kiran. I hope you’re doing well! I’m happy to help with your college project on how New Year is celebrated in different countries. Let me share how we celebrate New Year in Pakistan. In Pakistan, New Year is important to many people. It marks a fresh start, where people think about the past year. In many households, people gather on New Year’s Eve to share a meal and enjoy one another’s company. In larger cities, some people attend public events or watch fireworks, while others prefer a quiet evening at home. At midnight, friends exchange greetings, call relatives and wish one another health and success. On January 1, many people enjoy a relaxed day and think about their goals for the coming year, although celebrations vary from family to family. What I like most is the hopeful atmosphere. Even a simple family meal gives people a chance to reconnect and look ahead together. I also enjoy hearing the different wishes people make for the year ahead. That combination of excitement and togetherness makes the occasion special to me. I hope this gives you useful material for your project. Let me know if you’d like any more details. Best wishes, [Your name]
