In present days, developed countris of the world are trying to irredicate poverty of rest of the world by providing financial support but the result is not as fruitful as they have expected. Underdeveloped and developing countrires are still facing large scale of povertry despite the effort. So I think rich countries should not only give money, but also provide practical support such as education, technical training and advice on how to manage public resources. In my view, this approach is more effective, although financial aid should not be completely stopped.
One reason money alone may fail is that it can be spent without creating lasting opportunities for people. For example, a government might use foreign aid for short-term projects, while schools and hospitals still lack trained staff. If rich countries help train teachers, doctors and engineers, poorer nations can develop skills that remain useful for many years. They can also support local businesses by sharing technology and offering vocational courses, which may create jobs and reduce dependence on donations.
Another useful form of assistance is helping improve infrastructure, such as roads, clean water systems and electricity. These services allow farmers to transport products and companies to operate more reliably. Developed countries could also provide expert advice on tax collection and public administration, so that local governments can use their own income fairly and efficiently. Such cooperation should be planned with the people of the country, rather than imposed from outside, because local needs differ.
However, financial aid remains important in emergencies and in countries that cannot afford basic services. Money can provide food, medicine and shelter quickly after a disaster. Therefore, it is not the aid itself that is always ineffective, but the way it is delivered and managed.
In conclusion, I agree that rich countries should offer more than financial aid. Training, technology and support for public services can address causes of poverty and help countries become self-reliant, while carefully monitored funding is still needed in urgent situations.
