Answer analysis

Fluency & Coherence

The answer develops in a clear sequence: it identifies your job and employer, then lists four responsibilities. That makes the response easy to follow, though it remains brief and the list gives little sense of which responsibility matters most to you. Practise a 20-second version: state your role, group the duties into two thought units, and add one short explanation of a duty’s importance without introducing unsupported details.

Lexical Resource

The response uses precise workplace vocabulary, including “network systems,” “hardware configurations,” and “core operating procedures,” which fits the topic well. The range is relevant but mostly consists of job-related nouns and task verbs; “most popular” is also a broad claim rather than a more specific description. As an optional refinement, use “responsibilities” instead of “roles” before the list, and practise adding a concise detail about one listed duty.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The grammar is controlled: “I'm an IT engineer working…” combines the role with a participial phrase, and the four duties are presented in a consistent -ing list. There is no clear grammatical error in the answer. For a small refinement, “working at the … company” is more idiomatic for employment by an organisation than “working in the … company”; keep the parallel verb forms when extending the answer.

Pronunciation

This text-only response cannot establish how you pronounce the words, so this practice guide is not an assessment of a recording. Practise the word stress in “network systems” and “hardware configurations,” then say the answer in thought groups: job and employer; first two duties; final two duties. Record one attempt, check that each word ending is audible, and compare it with a second recording.

A transcript shows language and organisation. Fluency, delivery and pronunciation require an audio recording; the synthetic voice demonstrates the text, not the original speaker.

  • Use “working at” when naming the company you are employed by.
  • Replace “roles” with “responsibilities” to introduce the duties that follow.
  • Practise delivering the answer in three thought groups: job and employer, first two duties, and final two duties.
