The figure illustrate the west park secondary school’s replacement that has been taken by its construction from 1950 to 2010. Overall it readily apparent that the houses and farmland, which were situated in 1950, has been taken down in 1980 and replaced by car park, sport field and science block, moreover, carpark have expended the area around the school. In 1950, the school was on the north side of the site, with houses to its left and farmland below them. The playground was in the south-east corner. By 1980, the houses and farmland had disappeared. The school building was shown as the main building in the north-east, and a science block was added beside it. A car park took the place of the houses, while a sports field was built in the south-west. The playground stayed in the same south-east position. In 2010, further changes can be seen. The car park became much larger and occupied most of the western part of the site. The science block was between the car park and the main building, above the sports field. The sports field became smaller, while the main building and playground remained in the eastern part. Overall, the site changed from a school with houses and farmland nearby into one with larger parking and sports facilities.
