Fluency & Coherence
The ideas move from your preference to examples, a reason for drinking coffee, and a contrast with tea; the ending then makes your choice clear. However, repeating “On the other hand” makes the progression less smooth, and “So,” introduces a conclusion only after several overlapping points. Practise this answer in 30 seconds: give your choice, one example, one reason, and a brief tea contrast, using each idea once.
Lexical Resource
“Vietnamese coffee,” “espresso,” and “the bitterness of tea” provide relevant vocabulary and communicate your preferences clearly. “I have a big passion for coffee” is understandable, but a less natural collocation, while “during the studying period” is wordy for this simple idea. Next, practise concise combinations such as “be passionate about coffee” and “while studying,” then use one precise phrase for taste or preparation.
Grammatical Range & Accuracy
You use clear simple clauses, including “coffee can help me stay awake,” and the meaning remains easy to follow. The phrase “during the studying period” is an awkward construction, and “I love coffee, such as…” does not connect the example smoothly to the general noun. Try “I enjoy different kinds of coffee, including…” and combine the repeated contrast into one sentence with “whereas” or “but.”
Pronunciation
This is text-only, so pronunciation cannot be assessed from the answer. For practice, stress the main content words in “coffee lover,” “stay awake,” and “bitterness of tea,” and group the response into thought units after your preference, example, and reason. Record yourself reading it once, mark where each idea ends, then listen back and check that the word stresses and thought groups are clear. This practice guide is not an assessment of a recording.
