Band 5.0

Dear Manager,

I am writing about your evening computer course. I joined this course last month and I want to tell you some things about it. The course was good and I enjoyed it very much.

The teacher was friendly and explain things slowly. I did not know much about computers before but now I can make a table and send documents to people. The exercises was useful and I liked working with other students because we helped each other. I think these skills will help me at work.

But there was a problem with computers. Some computer was not working and two people must use one computer. I waited a long time and I could not finish my exercise. This was not good because the class was only one hour.

Please check all computers before next course. You can also make the class longer so people have more time to practise. I hope you will make these changes because I want to join another course.

Yours faithfully, Alex Morgan

Targeted Improvement Tips

1
All letter points should be developed: enjoyment of practical computing, equipment failures and reduced practice, then a direct improvement. A polite request for equipment checks and spare capacity matches the problem.
2
Use an overview and group details by the actual comparison rather than describe every label in turn.
3
Check the quoted revisions and retain precise figures, dates, locations and tone.
