Band 7.0

The picture describes development on an island, namely Paradise. Overall, the land underwent significant change with the construction of some tourist facilities. Strikingly, the island’s growth was accompanied by the emergence of trees and natural spring. Regarding the left side of the map. The Scientific Research Station was demolished to make way for the Hotel complex, which occupies the central-western part of the island. The former boat has been replaced by a cruise ship beside the pier, while the beach remains and is now designated for swimming. The natural spring and the rocks are still present, although the trees shown across the island in the past are no longer depicted.

Several facilities have been added for visitors. A swimming pool lies just north of the hotel, and an open restaurant is situated to its east. Farther east, visitors can find a BBQ area and a café. A cycle path connects the developed area with a scenic lookout on the eastern side, following a route around much of the island. Overall, the island has shifted from research and nature to tourism. While the spring and coastal landmarks have been retained, the research facility and vegetation have given way to tourism infrastructure.

Targeted Improvement Tips

1
Before drafting, list which features are retained, removed or added: for example, the natural spring and rocks remain, trees and the research station are absent from the present map, and visitor facilities are added.
2
Organise the body by comparison: first describe the western area and replacement of the boat, then cover the hotel, dining facilities, cycle path and lookout.
3
After writing, check every sentence beginning with a linking phrase such as “Regarding” to ensure it has a complete main clause; also check articles in phrases such as “a natural spring.”
