Band 6.0

The provided map illustrates the changes in an island called Paradise between the past and present. Overall, the scientific research station underwent significant changes, with the most notable ones being the replacement and modernization of the natural spring, which was also recorded. To the left side of the map, the boat in the past became a cruise ship at the southwestern shore. The beach on the northwestern coast remains, but swimming is now permitted there, and the pier is larger. The central area has been redeveloped: the former research-station area is now occupied by a hotel complex and swimming pool, while the palm trees have disappeared. An open restaurant has been added to the east of the hotel, with a BBQ area and café farther east. A cycle path now runs around much of the island, connecting the facilities. On the eastern side, a scenic lookout has been built near the rocks; the natural spring is still shown in approximately the same area. The sea continues to surround the island. Overall, the island has changed from a largely natural site with a research station into a tourism-focused destination, although its beach, spring, rocks and surrounding sea remain.

Targeted Improvement Tips

1
Replace the opening claim about the spring with an accurate overview: the island has gained tourism facilities, while the spring and rocks remain.
2
Group comparisons by location: western shore, central area, then eastern shore; mention the cycle path as a feature linking these areas.
3
Check every change verb against the diagram: distinguish features that were added, removed, relocated or retained.
