Band 7.0

The maps depict the transformation of Paradise Island from past to present. Overall, it is apparent that the island has undergone substantial shifts, cutting out some natural beauty and providing more spaces for recreational purposes. The island used to have a small pier situated on the westernmost side, which could only accommodate small boats. This was one of only a few facilities, alongside a scientific research station, a beach, several palm trees, a natural spring and rocks near the northeastern edge. Most of the island's interior was otherwise undeveloped.

At present, the western pier remains, but a cruise ship is now shown alongside it, indicating that the island can receive larger vessels. The research station has been replaced by a hotel complex, with a swimming pool immediately to its north. The beach is still in the northwest and is now marked as a permitted swimming area. Several visitor amenities have also been added: an open restaurant and circular BBQ area occupy the central part, while a café lies to the east. A cycle path runs across the southern side and connects the developed areas. At the eastern end, a scenic lookout has been built close to the rocks and natural spring, both of which remain. Overall, the island has changed from a largely natural site with limited facilities into a more developed tourist destination, although some natural features have been retained.

Targeted Improvement Tips

1
Replace vague evaluation such as “natural beauty” with named map features, for example the palm trees, spring or rocks.
2
Compare the former research-station area with the present hotel and swimming pool, and the former small-boat pier with the present cruise-ship access.
3
Use precise location language for each addition, then check that long facility lists are divided into clearly grouped details.
