The two graphs illustrate the comparison between two types of room for two students and one student with separate average prize a week at an Australia university. In general, it is obvious that room which costs higher possesses larger size and more conveniences than the other. To begin with, student room with the prize of $350 a week is more spacious and has more furniture. It measures 6 metres by 4 metres, so its area is 24 square metres. It contains two beds and two study desks, as well as a table and chairs. A bathroom and cooking area with a stove and sink are also shown. The plan includes other items such as a cupboard and bookshelf.
By contrast, the room for one person costs $200 per week. It is 6 metres wide and 2.5 metres long, giving an area of 15 square metres. It has one bed and one study desk, together with a bathroom and cooking facilities. A stove and sink are visible, and the plan also shows a microwave. The room does not have the shared table and chairs shown in the larger accommodation.
Overall, the two-person room costs $150 more weekly, but it provides 9 square metres of extra space and additional furniture. Both rooms have the same width and include a bathroom.
