The plans above display what a normal university student room looks like in general. The plans of the dorm visualizes how the furniture will be laid out for one person room and two person room. The dorm for one person looks much more spacious than two people despite being twice as small than two people. In the two-person room, which measures 6 metres by 4 metres, two beds are placed along the right-hand side, with a separate study desk near each bed. A table and chairs occupy the central area, while the bathroom is in the upper-left corner. Cooking facilities, including a stove and sink, are grouped along the lower-left wall. The room costs $350 per week.
By comparison, the one-person room is also 6 metres wide, but its depth is 2.5 metres. It has one bed on the right and one study desk at the top, leaving more open floor space in the middle. The bathroom remains in the upper-left corner, and the kitchen appliances are arranged along the lower-left side. This room costs $200 per week, which is $150 less each week than the shared room. Overall, the main differences are the number of beds and desks, the greater depth and shared seating in the two-person room, and the lower rent for the single room.
