The two diagrams compare the difference the instructure of Southwest airport currently and next year. Overall, the area gates and arrivals will be expanded but nothing have change in the region of security passport control and passport control customs. The shape of gates area will be reinstructed from retangle to Y-shape. The amounts of gates will increase from 8 to 18, and the long straight gate corridor will become a Y-shaped one. In the current plan, gates 1 to 8 are arranged beside the narrow corridor, while after development gates 1 to 18 will be placed along three branches. The main terminal will stay in the same position, with security and passport control on the left side and passport control and customs on the right. The departures area remain at the left and arrivals at the right. There will also be more facilities for passengers. At present, the plan shows check-in, a café and a walkway. Next year, bag drop and an ATM will be added, and a sky train and car hire will also be available. The check-in and café are retained. Overall, the airport will have more gates and services, while the central terminal layout and the two passenger areas remain largely same.
