The image portrays how southwest airport will be changed in the future. Overall, the airport will be undergone notable transformations, with key evidence in the expansion of some parts of airport, the introduction of new facilities. At the beginning, there is a concourse with walkway inside and surrounded by eight gates. Also, check-in and café are available in the present layout, while arrivals and departures are separated on either side of the terminal. After redevelopment, the central walkway will be extended and widened, and the number of gates will rise from eight to eighteen. The security/passport-control area will remain on the departures side, opposite passport control and customs, while the arrivals and departures areas will continue to occupy their respective sides. Several services will be added, including a bag-drop point, an ATM, a sky train and car hire. The plan also shows check-in and a café in the redeveloped terminal. The basic division between arrivals and departures is also retained. Overall, the main change is the much larger gate area, supported by additional passenger services.
